I didn't come to this work through a textbook.
I came through years of working in a busy GP surgery, starting as a receptionist and working my way up to practice manager. I was capable, dependable, and quietly running on empty. I was the person everyone leaned on, and I had completely forgotten how to lean on anything myself.
When burnout finally caught up with me, I went looking for support. What I discovered was how difficult it was to find something that felt genuinely integrated, clinically grounded, and affordable at the point when I had the least capacity to keep searching.
So I built it myself.
I retrained as a wellbeing coach, qualified as a TARC EFT Practitioner, and later as a clinical hypnotherapist, not to collect credentials, but because I wanted to understand, from every angle, what it actually takes to help someone find their way back to themselves.
I also spent years watching what chronic, unmanaged stress does to people over time. I saw it in that surgery, the slow progression from exhaustion to anxiety, from anxiety to something much harder to recover from.
That lit a fire in me that has never gone out. I didn't want to wait until people were sitting in a waiting room. I wanted to reach them before that point.
